It's always nice to get some feedback from journalists. After all PR agencies or in-house staff put a lot of effort into crafting the release to maximise coverage. What about the Social Media Release?
This is what the Getting Ink collective of journalists has to say about it. The problem is that most PR agencies are 'wordsmiths' but not necessarily technical. Digital design agencies can make the SMR template but cannot necessarily write the story in a way that engages the audience.
