Adrian Moss is a Director of Focus Business Communications Ltd. He is a Marketing Communications Specialist with 20 years communications experience.

He was trained as an accountant working for Chrysler and 3M, after which he moved into sales and marketing in the IT industry. He was a founder member of Peachtree International and then Lotus, where he set up technical support teams and headed the market expansion of both companies. The company expanded from 4 to 400+ people in 6 years and opened over 30 offices with over 50 distributors internationally. He managed PR as well as Channel and End User Marketing.

In 1990 Adrian joined Tektronix as a founder member of their Colour Printer Division which grew from 3 people to over 300 in 6 years. As Marketing Director he hired and managed a team of 30 people across Europe. From 1996 until 1999 Adrian was Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at Tektronix with a team of over 100 marketing and communications people and a PR team of 10. He pioneered the use of CDRom training and marketing communications. He was on Tektronix European Board and acted as spokesperson reporting to the President.

From 1999 to 2003 Adrian worked for other marketing agencies such as DraftDigital, The Opus Group, Aziz Corporation, Masterfoods, BT, The Advantage Group and Bracknell Forest Council. In 2003 Adrian joined forces with Ian Ward to form Focus Business Communications to specialise in multi-media communication services.

Adrian is particularly passionate about the future of the internet and what’s become known as ‘Web2.0’. He blogs about the evolution of the new Social Media as ‘The Podcaster’, and has been a guest speaker at several conferences and seminars on the subject. Adrian has produced in excess of 150 audio and video podcasts for a variety of clients, putting him among the leading podcast producers in the UK.

He is a past President of Bracknell Forest Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of the Thames Valley Chamber. He advised the British Chambers of Commerce on the Data Protection Act and ran their membership training programme for a number of years.

Adrian has a Degree in Psychology from the Open University and is a member of the CIPR
